Sept 29 2006

First Post
Decided it was time and start a blog as I've heard to my surprise only good feedback and positive benefits from having a blog. So here goes.

This year has been great, the summer has past in a blink and we're already at the end of September. Back it up for a sec...my season started off slow with not a spring wedding. Luckily I received a few odd jobs in design with Kari at Ruby Red Shoes helping out with the local Dragon Boat festival's ad campaign. Including photographing of some cameras Cognex.

Romp Thru Concepts for their new book, "Romantic Dinners for Two"...

Other shoots included "Kirwin Partners", "Dean Martini's", "It's a Swanky Affair" my first Bat Mitzvah and a good friends reception after their return from getting hitched in Mexico.

And of course my almost two year running shooting and writing for "THE DRIVE magazine". Working with the gang at the DRIVE has been fantastic. Dave, Mark, Laura and everyone that has helped make the magazine a success. I must thank you. Your success has directly helped in my last two years and with that I am very grateful. Cheers to all and lets make THE DRIVE the best in Southern Ontario!

The summer wedding season started late this year with Jody
and David late May (24th)

July 1st saw Ken and Lindsay have the time of their lives...

On Friday the 7th, the car was packed, family was packed and we headed for Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and wouldn't return till 2nd of August. I'll write more about the adventures down east in the future. But I must show a few pix from Jason and Lynn's wedding on the 15th of July...

This is my second wedding I have shot on Cape Breton. The previous was the year prior. Which you can view the photos on my website anytime.

August has been a very busy month...four weddings and a fire calendar (no funeral). Jen and Chad on the 5th, Tania and Farhad on the 12th, Craig and Megan on the 19th and Barb and Kevin on the 26th...

The photos are in order of the list above. The Fire Calendar turned out fantastic. I took a year off from shooting it and this year I made a executive decision and decided it was going to be B+W...

Thanks to the Windsor Fire Dept and all the people who helped and supported, you know who you are. And of course all the firemen who diet and exercise for this great cause. On that, I will end my first blog. I'll be "trying" to enter every couple weeks until I get in the habit. peace.
