Time to get updating - my apologies for not doing more on here! I'd rather be shooting to be honest - so if I can spend as little time at my computer I will!

Once again a fresh new season is upon us. To most this season is summer. To me it's wedding season! My spring has been pretty busy with various work with other clients with a few vacations thrown in to make sure my creativity is ready to be tapped into.

The Computer Blues!

Hi everyone - it's been over a week since my desktop got fried! Thankfully I can used my wife's laptop to continue to work - and play.

So I guess the main hard drive was having issues and would have cost over a couple grand to get the info off of. Luckily I have EVEZRYTHING on a seperate portable hard drive (which I recommend to everyone) so I didn't lose much except some personal stuff.

Low and behold the motherboard was fired as well - so for a couple hundred bucks I'll be getting pretty much a brand new computer.

We think that my new BENQ monitor might have had a help in all this mess. Since it has a screen resolution of 1900 x 1200 - my graphics card might have blown up - to put it nicely!

So with a new hard drvie, motherboard and graphics card I'll be set for the next few years - even as much as I wanted a MAC - realy no need now, for a while anyhow.

On a higher note - met up with some of my last years baseball team at Jonny Shotz in Tecumseh last night. It was nice to see everyone who should up! Looking forward to next years season! Lets go undefeated again!!!

Two weeks till California! Two months till Gull Lake golfing! I'll be updating on all - hopefully with some great pix as well!

Oh - one last thing - I'm looking forward to using my new 15mm fisheye lens this year. So for all you bride and grooms I have a new little tool to play with and I can't wait to use it!!!

It's been a long time...new website in the works

Hey there...

WOW has it been a while since I last wrote a post! My apologies!

Well the new year (2008) is now in full swing with January over already! The holiday season went by pretty darn quickly if you ask me! Kept busy throughtout which was nice. I aslo got up to see the family in Smiths Falls this last year back at the November. Had a chance to utilize the trip for 6 lucky families who booked portraits for the time I was up visiting. (pix coming soon)

This years Wedding shows went very well. Great resoponse with lots of fantastic compliments. Thank you all for your kind words! There are still a few dates open this year. Contact me directly for more info.

Well this is a quick note to all letting you know that my blogging will commence with a vengance.

With plans of a new website in the next few months, my goal is to blog as much as poss - like every Sunday.

You may ask why change the website - as I've heard many times before that it's great, fantastic, yadda yadda yadda - but the truth of the matter is I have a means to the maddness. My goal is to be apart of The Wedding Photojournalist Association (http://www..wpja.com/) Being part of this association will help bring my photography to the next level I want to be.

Where does the website come into this - the new site will be more flash based than html, the content will be dramaticly be down sized with the focus on quality not quantity.

Expect the new site in a couple months!
